Workplace Violence Prevention and Rapid Response Security

Sober, Planned Protection for High-Risk Events

Workplace Violence Prevention From Verintegra

A Planning and Presence Service, Not a Crisis Service

Workplace violence prevention security is a short-term, planned protective service in which trained armed or unarmed officers provide on-site presence, advance risk assessment, and coordinated response around events with elevated risk of confrontation, most commonly high-risk terminations, restraining-order situations, post-incident return-to-work, and executive concern periods.

We help Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma employers manage the narrow window of risk around sensitive workplace events. Our role is to plan carefully with your HR and legal teams, place the right officer in the right posture for the right number of hours, document everything cleanly, and stand down when the risk window closes. We work in support of your existing policies, not around them. Texas DPS License #C07351901.

How We Approach the Work

Why Choose Verintegra for Workplace Violence Prevention?

The work is sober and procedural. We are not there to escalate, intimidate, or perform. We are there so that a difficult conversation can happen safely, so a known concern does not become an incident, and so that, if something does occur, there is a clear, documented account of what we saw and did:

A pre-event risk review with your HR, legal, and facilities leads, 24-72 hours before the event. We need operational facts, not privileged legal strategy or medical information.

We see ourselves as a third seat at the table alongside HR and legal counsel. A workplace violence prevention engagement that is not coordinated with HR and legal is not a service we are willing to provide. We sign confidentiality agreements as needed.

Uniformed, plain-clothes, or a layered combination, the choice is part of the assessment, not a preference. The plan is written down before the day, not improvised on it.

The risk window does not always close when the individual leaves the parking lot. We define stand-down criteria during the planning phase so that coverage ends on a decision, not on a default.

We write to a Litigation-Ready standard, plain language, time-stamped entries, and a clear separation between what officers observed and what they inferred. We do not editorialize.

Not crisis counseling. Not law enforcement. Not a substitute for policy. We deter, observe, document, and request law enforcement support through the appropriate channels when warranted. Mental-health support belongs with your EAP, licensed clinicians, or local crisis resources.

How Engagements Run

High-Risk Termination Protocol and Rapid Response Options

Our plain clothes security guards are an invaluable resource for addressing a variety of security concerns. At Verintegra, our plain clothes security guards provide an adaptable, professional approach to handling diverse security challenges.

By blending seamlessly into various environments, they ensure safety and peace of mind without disrupting daily operations or the experiences of those around them. Whether safeguarding retail spaces, corporate offices, or special events, our team is committed to delivering effective, unobtrusive protection tailored to your unique needs. Trust Verintegra to be your partner in maintaining security with discretion and professionalism. Here are some key areas where our services make a difference:

Advance Assessment (24-72 Hours Before)

Before the day of the meeting, we sit down with the HR lead and, where appropriate, outside counsel.

We work through the known history with the individual (documented incidents, prior warnings, restraining orders, social-media indicators shared with us by the employer), the location (meeting room, building access points, parking, line-of-sight, alternate egress), timing, property recovery (badges, keys, devices, company vehicles), communication plan, and officer posture.

Day-of Presence

Officers arrive ahead of the meeting, walk the space, confirm positioning with the HR lead, and stay in place through the conversation, property turnover, and escort off the premises.

Depending on the assessment, this may mean an officer seated discreetly within sight of the meeting room, a second officer staged near the building entrance or parking lot, or a plain-clothes officer in a common area where a uniformed presence would be inappropriate. Our officers do not participate in the termination conversation; that is HR and legal's role.

Post-Event Monitoring

Continued coverage after the individual leaves, scoped to the assessment.

Post-event coverage can include continued on-site coverage for the rest of the workday or workweek, Mobile Patrol checks at the facility or executive residences, and escort coverage for specific employees who voiced concern. Stand-down criteria are defined in writing during planning.

Off-Hours Rapid Deployment

A threat arrives by email or voicemail late on a Friday, and the facility needs coverage before Monday morning.

We maintain a roster, and the pay structure to keep it, that supports rapid deployment across our service area. Our intake call is short, direct, and built to confirm whether we are the right fit and what the first 24 hours should look like.

Acute Executive Concern

A doxxing incident, a public-facing controversy, or a domestic situation creates a short-term need around an executive.

Coverage can extend to an executive's residence, a child's school pickup, or a defined travel window. We coordinate with executive protection details when the risk crosses from the workplace into personal exposure.

Restraining-Order Events

Service, court hearings, or anniversaries that the protective order references.

For events with a known protective order, prior 911 history, or credible specific threats, we encourage clients to make a courtesy notification to the local agency in advance. We will support that outreach and provide our license information, officer roster, and on-site contact for the day.

Post-Incident Return-to-Work

An employee returns after a prior on-site incident and leadership wants visible coverage for the first days back.

We staff the return window with the posture the assessment calls for, often a layered combination of uniformed presence at the entrance and plain-clothes coverage in the work area.

Uniformed vs. Plain-Clothes Posture

Both have a place; the choice is part of the assessment.

Uniformed officers make sense when visible deterrence is the goal or when other employees need a clear signal that coverage is in place. Plain-clothes officers make sense when the employer wants to avoid signaling the event to the wider workforce, when the setting is a corporate office or executive residence, or when the individual of concern has shown reactivity to uniformed presence.

Documentation You Can Defend

Litigation-Ready Debriefs on Every Engagement

Every assignment ends with a written debrief. For a workplace violence prevention engagement that typically includes a timeline of officer arrival, posture changes, and stand-down; a factual account of any interactions with the individual of concern; AI body camera footage references where applicable (our Independent Witness standard); a list of items observed but not acted on, so HR and legal have a complete record; and recommendations for ongoing coverage, if any.

We write to a Litigation-Ready standard. That means plain language, time-stamped entries, and a clear separation between what officers observed and what they inferred. We do not editorialize.

Frequently Asked Questions

Workplace Violence Prevention FAQ

Pricing depends on the number of officers, the posture (armed or unarmed, uniformed or plain-clothes), the number of hours, and travel. Short-term engagements are typically priced on an hourly basis with a minimum shift length. We quote transparently, with no hidden overtime or holiday charges. The right starting point is a free assessment call, pricing only makes sense once we understand the situation.

For rapid response situations inside our standing service area, we are commonly able to place an officer on site the same day, and often within hours, depending on the time of day and the posture required. Out-of-area deployments take longer because we plan for travel, lodging, and local familiarization. The honest answer in any specific case comes out of a short intake call.

Both. The choice is part of the advance assessment, not a default. Many engagements use unarmed uniformed or plain-clothes officers because the risk profile does not warrant a firearm and an armed presence would change the tenor of the meeting. Other situations, credible specific threats, prior weapons history, isolated locations, call for armed officers. We recommend based on the facts you share and your counsel's direction.

Yes. We expect to. A workplace violence prevention engagement that is not coordinated with HR and legal is not a service we are willing to provide. We sign confidentiality agreements as needed and work inside whatever communication structure your team and counsel prefer.

It can, if the wrong posture is chosen. That is precisely why the assessment exists. In most engagements, our presence either goes unnoticed by the individual of concern or registers as a calm, professional signal that the employer has prepared carefully. We train officers to keep a low profile, stay out of the conversation, and intervene only on clear, defined triggers.

No. We are a physical security services firm. Mental-health support belongs with your Employee Assistance Program, licensed clinicians, or local crisis resources. We are glad to coordinate timing with those providers so that protective coverage and support services do not conflict.

The location and timing of the event; the general nature of the concern (high-risk termination, restraining order, prior incident, executive concern); who on your side will be the on-the-day point of contact; and whether outside counsel is involved. We do not need, and prefer not to receive, privileged legal strategy or protected medical information.
